Elohim God showed Cain and Able how to present their Offering, but Cain's was rejected. Cain became wroth and His countenance fell [Gen.4]. Instead of listening to Godly advice, Cain listen to His father Satan, and turned on His brother Able. Exodus 20:12, number 5 of the Ten Commandments, God states honour thy father and mother: that thy days will be long upon the land. Ephes.6:1-4 Obeying is right and attached is a promise. It also states for fathers, not to provoke our children to wrath: but bring them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. An example that I like is Satan knowing the correct buttons to push to cause Cain to eliminate what He thought was the 'standard',which was Able. Let us not create or encourage strife or competition among siblings. IE. Cain you are an idiot; why cant you be obedient like Able. Nurture = Discipline. Provoke = To wrath. Col.3:21 Fathers provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. God said to Cain, "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted'? A call to Men; lets help our youth/children do well.
