This is an interesting word, that is often miss-used in the West. Elohim God teaches us, and guides us, then He expects us to follow the instructions. I have observed that God rarely ask us what we think. He already knows our thoughts. When He question us He is looking for knowledge.   In Job[32:10-17] when God mentions opinion it means = knowledge, have knowledge,to know,be learned, perceive for sure.  Opinions in 1King[18:21] = divided in mind.  In Ezekiel 8:6 God ask "what seest thou"? Is a question concerning "figs".  Christ Jesus ask His Disciples "Who do men say that I Am"?  There are more examples, but hopefully the point is made. The Prince of Darkness [Ephes.6] has deceived many into believing that they as individuals have a say in the matter, minus the knowledge of Elohim God. Starting right now, I am committing to Stop listening with my mouth.
