Why do Christians hate Christ?

I was asked this question yesterday, and given the answer. the answer is rooted in idol worship.   Worship is all about our works. Physically what are we doing?    Spiritually what are we praying, and to whom? Family,Churches/Ministers, and our jobs can easily become idols.    Christ Jesus was the Tree of Life in the Garden.       The Burning Bush that spoke to Moses. The Fourth Man in the fire in Daniel. He created everything, including Ha-Satan. Once we confess that Christ Jesus is Lord, then we are required to "follow" Him.          Matt.4:10 We can Not serve Two Masters. Matt.6:24 Can Not serve God and mammon.  John 12:26 If any man serve Me, let him follow.     John 8:32 And you shall Know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free. True,Truly,Truth = not concealing. The opposite = be hid, be ignorant of, unaware. We can Not love/serve Two; we will serve One and hate the other. One freedom, the other, bondage. Even in the U.S.Constitution it states "Secure the Blessings of Liberty".

  1. If on a short trip, and it is taking months, or even years, then we should consider that we may be headed in the wrong direction. My sermon; Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.

  2. Adam's deception in the Garden cost Him a physical and Spiritual death sentence. The Command not to become intimate with Satan, is still a Command today. It has been added to. It includes the followers and decendants of Cain. Do not follow the wicked period.

  3. What about 50% 50%? I have seen Yes we can bumper stickers on one side of the bumper, and on the other side, Jesus is Lord. We can kid ourselves into believing its 50/50 but that is being "luke warm" and double minded. The Correct Spirit always, always responds to our words.
