We are admonished to be careful of our speech. We will give an account of every idle word spoken. Idle to me is neutral, or luke warm; it doesn't edify the Body of Christ. Christ states that we have not because, we ask not; or ask amiss. Amiss is selfish or something that could be harmful. Our words are to be powerful and a well of life.
When Stephen was being murdered he spoke: The record states that Christ Himself stood up-that is power. Angels of the Lord[YHVH] are all around us. An angel is a messenger, but also is moved by our speech. When we speak the Word, mixed in our faith, angels move.
Hebrews 13:2 states that people have unawares[unknowingly, unrecognized, covert] entertain angels. 1Cor.6:3 "Do ye not know that we shall judge angels?" On what? A ranking Roman soldier advised Christ that he too was under authority and understood how it works - Just speak the Word and it is done.
If the Saints attempt to compete with the messengers of Satan, who control the air-waves, we become monotone, just as the media has become. People who talk a lot must borrow other's business, which usually smells.
Saints have power. We are on a mission. We are the Light that should not be hidden. We are the salt of the earth. We plant seeds, and is a good example for others to follow. Remember the Words of the teen David when he confronted Goliath. Remember the Words of Daniel that got him into a little trouble[death sentence]. Remember the words of the Three Hebrews who got into trouble for refusing idol worship. Take heed to what is spoken into, and out of existence.
