"Meekness"

Matt.5:5 "Blessed are the Meek". This the words of Christ, teaching Kingdom business to His followers. There are many advantages of having an attitude of, and practicing Meekness. this has absolutely nothing to do with weakness, or being a wimp. It much to do with the application of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and the influence of the Holy Spirit.
In Matt.5:5 the word Meek = mildness of disposition, gentleness of spirit, meekness. Matt.11:29 God in the flesh describing Himself, and a benefit. Matt.21:5 "Thy King cometh": this was a confirmation of prophecy  for those that knew the Word.
God[YHVH] had to humble Himself to be born[legal] of woman, to demonstrate how to live-and die. Christ made a choice to save mankind vs. allowing us to be destroyed. This entire earth-age is all about choice: Life or Death.
Christ admonished His followers that they were going out among wolves: they should be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. These serpents are men: they are descendants of Cain. All serpents are prudent. Harmless = guileless. Keep the trickery out of this ministry.
Meekness is a choice. During these times we are taught to operate with a spirit of Meekness because wolves are all about: this is the Fig-tree generation, and the Lord has permitted it. It helps when following Christ to know that He rode a donkey - but a White Horse is standing by.

  1. "Blessed are the Meek" is a mouthful all by itself. If we desire to be Blessed, choose Meekness. Employ Meekness. Put Meekness to work.

  2. Meekness is also a line drawn in the sand between the righteous, and the Fakes. Cain could not humble himself and follow God's instructions; instead he turned on his brother Abel. This is a m. o. that should be paid close attention to. Be careful of those who require Meekness of others-but refuse it for themselves.

  3. "Blessed are the Meek, for they shall - inherit - the earth". This narrow gate omits religion. Following Christ Jesus[YHVH] is not a religion; it is a way of Life, based off of faith; that is, He is, Whom He says, that He is. Christ is the only Answer!
