"Live by the sword"

Two often misquoted, and misunderstood Verses in the Bible. Live by the sword, die by the sword. And, turn the other cheek. Often employed by Non-believers, with a Naughty agenda.
Mat.26:52 " Put up again thy sword into its place: for all they that take the sword, shall perish with the sword."
Put it up - again! The Apostle in training missed the memo, because he was asleep. Thy sword, changed into MY Sword. My Sword is Spiritual, and represents Judgment.
First response, is to start swinging, is a flesh response. Know prophecy; and purpose: both of which Immanuel-Christ-Jesus had revealed to them. Don't interfere with GOD's Will.
Peter being quick to act, was tired of the Fake-Priest and religion, dealt with the illegitimate ones in a justified manner. Flesh, against flesh:❌. "Put up thy sword, into it's place." Physical weapons do have a place.
Mat.10:24 " Not peace, but a Sword." Ephes. 6:17 - The Sword of the Spirit. Heb. 4:12 - the WORD of GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper, than any two edged sword.
Apostle Peter in training slept when Christ was praying about Will: let us be aware, and sensitive, to the Will of our Creator, and respond to situations - accordingly.✅

  1. Turn the other cheek. Matt.5:39 " Resist not evil: whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." This is for Teachers. Try not to be offensive. If you cross the line, stay focused. This Scripture dosent apply to many.
In life, bullies, should be dealt with quickly, and appropriately.

  2. Scriptures taken out of context is by definition a cult. Protect yourself and family. Don't be "worst than an Infidel (Non-believer in Immanuel-Christ-Jesus).

  3. Ephes. 6 mentions the word "Stand" - and also "Withstand"
Sometimes we are required to simply stand against __. Other times we must withstand = push back.
