Rom. 12:20 quotes Prov. 25:21-23 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink.
The above Scripture is quite often misquoted: especially by Non-believers.
This "enemy" is one that disagrees with us, or our doctrine. This is not a combatant that is intent on killing/murder.
Our LORD never intended for us to be punching bags for bullies, or Not protection for our families.
The "enemy" that we are to look out for, is malnourished. They are "famine" for the WORD of the LORD = Truth!×3
The woman by the well (Jn.4) speaks of Immanuel-Christ-Jesus being of the Tribe of Judah: and she being of Samaria. Neighbors, of the House of Israel, but not friendly: different - doctrines.
"Give ME drink" = tell me the WORD.
Immanuel-Christ-Jesus offered her "Living Water."
Jn. 6:35 "I AM the Bread of Life."
The end-time famine is a lack of the WORD/TRUTH.
"Feed MY sheep." For followers👣 of I.C.J. this is a Command.
In Matt. 25:32-41 the sheep and goats are seperated. I.C.J. states "For when I was hungry/thirsty, you gave me,.."
