We know him as the good Samaritan: because not much good was coming out of Samaria. There was also strife between Judah, and Samaria.
Immanuel told of "a Certain Samaritan" to a lawyer - who was inquiring about "inheriting eternal life."
This took place in Samaria's fallen state: Samaria was once a Capital of the Ten Northern Tribes. They went into captivity, released, then left the area going North into Europe, and West. Many settled in North America.
This "Certain Samarian" was a remnant of the legitimate Levi-Priest: the two that Immanuel mentioned are fallen.
The lawyer cited the Two Great Commandments correctly. Immanuel added the requirements of "compassion" and "mercy."
Immanuel-Christ-Jesus stated in Matt. 15:24, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel = 12 Tribes. HE spent a lot of time in Galilee, Bethsaida, Capernaum, Samaria, etc.. The "woman by the well" was of Samaria.
Immanuel and the Righteous- Samarian were following each Other's steps. Luke 10:34 And he went to him, bound up his (our) wounds, pouring in Oil and Wine, and set him on HIS own beast, and took care of him.

The road between Samaria(North)
ReplyDeleteand Judea(South) was alleged to be thirty miles. It was well documented to be a violent place.
Immanuel-Christ-Jesus and the Righteous-Samaritan traveled it on a regular basis.
Luke 10:25 and behold (sit up & pay attention; Now!)
ReplyDeletea - certain lawyer - stood up and tempted HIM, saying "Master, what should I do to inherit eternal Life?"
This guy was a fakester, none-believer, religious⚫
The 10 Northern Tribes were "scattered" just as the LORD Prophecy said. "Our Neighbors are all around us. We should know who they are: 😕 they don't know themselves - who they are.
ReplyDeleteBelievers are also Neighbors🔴
